Adoption Process
At Crown & Tress Shih Tzu, our regal Shih Tzus are more than just breeding champions; they are cherished members of our family. Get to know our Queens and Kings, the heart and soul of our breeding program.
Start by filling out our comprehensive Puppy Application form. This helps us understand your living situation, experience with pets, and preferences, which assists us in matching you with the right puppy.
Consultation
After reviewing your application, we will schedule a consultation call. This is a great opportunity to discuss your application, answer any questions you may have, and allow us to get to know you better.
Approval and Deposit
Once approved, you’ll be asked to place a deposit to secure your spot on our waitlist. This deposit is a commitment to a future Crown & Tress Shih Tzu puppy and is applied towards the final adoption fee.
Selection
As puppies become available, you’ll have the opportunity to select your new puppy based on the order of deposits received and the preferences you’ve indicated.
Preparation for Homecoming
We’ll provide you with updates, photos, and tips on preparing for your puppy’s arrival. This includes advice on puppy care, training, and products that will help your puppy adjust to its new home.
Finalizing Adoption
Once your puppy is ready to go home, the balance of the adoption fee will be due. We’ll arrange a pickup date and time or discuss delivery options if applicable.
Ongoing Support
Our relationship doesn’t end when you take your puppy home. We’re here to provide ongoing support and guidance as you and your puppy grow together.
